Microsoft Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol version 2 (MS-CHAP v2) Network and dial-up authentication. Uses separate encryption keys for sending and receiving. Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) Network and dial-up authentication. Provides support for additional authentication schemes, including smart cards. Password Authentication Protocol (PAP) Network and dial-up authentication. Sends passwords in clear text. Extensible Authentication Protocol-Transport Level Security (EAP-TLS) Provides authentication for wireless connections
