I’m Fred Yang, a software architect and developer who has spent more than two decades building products—and trying to understand why some systems remain easy to change while others fight back.

I work primarily with Angular and React, but my curiosity has never stayed inside one stack. Over the years, I’ve worked across frontend architecture, backend development, mobile applications, and full product delivery.

I care about code that communicates intent, architecture that earns its complexity, and tools that help teams deliver confidently. AI is now part of my everyday workflow, but I treat it as an amplifier for engineering judgment, not a replacement for it.

This blog is where I examine how software works, why it behaves the way it does, and the ideas that make it easier to reason about.

When I have something worth saying, I write about it here.
